Freedom

Freedom is what makes this country great ... the envy of all individuals of the world who seek to escape despotism.

Great Quote from Libertarian Nation

This quote comes from page 25 of Libertarian Nation, The Call for a New Agenda , by James Walsh:

"Fashionable political philosophers complain that people who live in advanced economies focus too much on selfish interests. But the self ownership at the foundation of rational social interaction (and advanced economies) isn't the same thing as selfishness.

In fact, cooperation--or altruism or any selfless act--only has meaning if the person chooses it voluntarily, from a position of self ownership. Slaves can't cooperate or volunteer."

To me, this is one of the most rational explanations of the benefits of capitalism I have ever encountered.

.... and why the government is wicked!

This is what Rush Limbaugh means when he talks about the difference between selfishness and having a legitimate self interest.

This concept is completely foreign to elitists, statists, and all manner of tyrants.

That is why I am praying for the good health of the five conservative Supreme Court justices. If Obama gets to replace one of the conservative justices .... you can just about stick a fork in the good old U. S. of A. folks. The redistribution plan will go on despite any re-taking of the House or Senate in 2010.

My Plea

On Monday November 3, the day before the election of 2008, I wrote a letter to one of my best friends. It was my plea to him to reject the leftist agenda of Barack Obama. I am posting this for the public record.

________________________________________________

My Friend:

I know it’s a little funny to hear Mr. McCain say “my friends” all the time. You have chided me a bit about it over the last few months. I hope I have taken your ribbing with good humor. He is not the smoothest guy around. I know he likes to hold up his “air quotes”. That’s a little goofy too, I know. I’ll be honest. He hasn’t run a great campaign either. I know you were a Hillary guy. I was more of a Thompson guy. But I’m going to vote for John McCain anyway on Tuesday. I know that you have expressed a preference for Obama. As a fellow red blooded American, I respect your decision. I would never want to lose a great friend over a political issue. This happened to my grandfather and a good friend of his back in the 1930’s. It was an issue and a grudge that they took to their graves. I won’t live like that. You will be my friend no matter what happens this Tuesday.

I think that we became friends because we shared certain core values. It is on that basis that I would like to make a heartfelt plea for you to re-consider your vote.

I know you are an investor and belong to a small investment club. You know me as someone with a strong entrepreneurial streak. We have both made it known to each other that we would like to start our own businesses in the future. So let’s just talk business for a second. Let’s take away the emotion and the “cult of personality.” You know, as an investor, that the goal of a publicly traded company is to produce a product or service in an efficient manner, make a reasonable profit on that product or service, and provide a reasonable return to the everyday people who invest in that company. I would venture to say that your investment club does not look to buy stock in companies that are consistently losing money. There are many costs that a corporation must bear on the way to that profit. There are raw material costs, labor costs, distribution costs, and a host of others. Of course taxation is also one of those costs.

On Halloween day (of all days) Barack Obama, citing the news that Exxon had earned record profits again (22.6 billion), said this to the swooning crowd, “THAT’S YOUR MONEY!” Everyone cheered. I guess everyone at the Obama rally were shareholders in Exxon! … Oh They were not? They were just the general public? Oh, I see. Obama conveniently left out the fact that Exxon also paid out a record in taxes as well (61.7 billion!). They paid out more than two and a half times their net profit in taxes. According to Investor’s Business Daily, “ExxonMobil will pay more taxes this year to the U.S. Treasury than the bottom 50% of all taxpayers – combined.” That is a staggering fact. So let me get this straight. According to Barack Obama, not only do the taxes that Exxon paid belong to the general public, the profits Exxon made also belong to the general public? Outrageous! That is a Halloween story that should scare everyone. The only thing missing is the campfire and smores!

There is nothing more disturbing than the bandit that smiles and speaks softly as he inserts the knife. You think I’m being a bit dramatic. But truly, it isn’t so much socialism I’m fearful of (we have already shamefully leaned toward it); It is the incubation of autocracy that gives me the jitters. With the help of a complicit and possibly filibuster proof congress, Obama represents a veto pen that will never see his fingerprints! This triumvirate of unchecked power will result in an America that would be unrecognizable to the founding fathers. America became the engine of innovation and progress in the world because of the rugged individuals that risked their blood and poured out their sweat to create a better life.

Of course there are a litany of other reasons to say no to Obama.

We already have the second highest capital gains tax in the world. Obama wants to raise it. We have a problem with outsourcing now. If this tax is raised, companies will simply shutter the doors or move to another country altogether. Could you imagine if Coca Cola pulled up its tent stakes and decided to move its headquarter to Ireland (low capital gains taxes there)? Atlanta would be devastated!

He has promised to bring the military into the twenty first century. This means he will essentially weaken it and dismantle our nuclear deterrent. All this as the newly emboldened Russia sends ships to Cuba and Iran defies the world in its race toward the bomb. Obama dreams of a world free of nuclear weapons … How is that for naivete? He and many in congress falsely believe that only the economically disadvantaged volunteer for military service. Out of “fairness” he will likely re-instate the draft or some quasi-military form of community service.

On David Letterman, Obama said that the “Navy Seals are an “elite team” of special forces.” He then added, “We need “elite people” running the government.” What did he mean by that, “a specialist?” What happened to “of the people, by the people, and for the people?”

His radical associations are undeniable. These radical Marxists didn’t just stumble upon him. He sought them out! Don’t deceive yourself. Bill Ayers dedicated his book “Prairie Fire” to political prisoners and named Sirhan Sirhan as one of them. This is the man that assassinated Robert Kennedy! Appalling! I know you were for Hillary. I think that anyone who supported the far more moderate Democrat in the primaries should think about that for a minute before they pull that lever on Tuesday. His association with a former spokesman for the PLO is also very troubling. He spent twenty years listening to a radical America hating preacher. Yet he claims he did not hear those hateful words. He never heard those hateful words, yet in these final days it sounds like he learned the Reverend’s style of preaching. He’s lying, of course. Can we please save the religious fervor for the church?

His middle class tax cut is a hoax (more like an outright lie). Early in his campaign he said you were safe if you made less than $250,000 per year. Then it was $200,000. Then Biden (currently residing in the panic room with a gag in has mouth) spouts out $150,000. For the Obama infomercial it was back to $200,000. Then surrogate Bill Richardson comes up with $120,000. What gives? The message here is that the number is arbitrary. The powers that be will decide whether or not you are “rich.” As wealth gets destroyed under an Obama administration, the definition of “rich” will get lower and lower.

I believe that history tends to repeat itself. Let’s look back at the Great Depression and its primary cause. Most people believe that the stock market crash of 1929 caused the Great Depression. Wrong! The economy was actually recovering a good bit after the crash. The Great Depression really began in late 1931 when Hoover raised the tax rate on people making over $100,000 per year from 20% to 55%. Back then the dollar bought a lot more. Today it would probably take a million dollars to buy the same amount of goods. People that owned businesses simply shuttered them up. “I’m taking my ball home. I don’t want to play anymore.” Let’s not let history repeat.

Then, of course, there is Joe the Plumber. He makes a legitimate point; Obama lets his guard down and reveals his true ideals. What happens next? This everyday American gets impromptu background checks from government computers. There was outrage about the government listening in on international phone calls in the name of national security. Where is the outrage now? Is this going to be the method of operation for an Obama administration? Then we have one of the few media members that refused to drink the Kool-Aid and asked Joe Biden some tough questions. Now that very same media outlet has been cut off from access to the Obama campaign. I guess they won’t be asking any more tough questions about the “dear leader.” Further, the LA Times is suppressing a videotape of Obama’s interactions at a party with the former PLO spokesman Rashid Khalidi. Protecting sources? How about releasing a transcript? Every Jewish voter should take note.

He broke his promise to stick to public campaign financing. This allowed him to take in millions (some from questionable sources) and make a run at buying the election.

His connections to ACORN are undeniable. There are widespread allegations of voter fraud against this organization. He worked closely with this organization and represented them in a lawsuit some years ago.

His connections to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are also there. These institutions force-fed easy money to banks in the name of social and economic justice. And Wall Street feasted as well. Now we are supposed to believe that the arsonists should be in charge of putting out the fire. Pathetic! You can’t argue this point. I watched hours of congressional testimony on the irresponsible oversight of these institutions and calls from the present administration to revamp and regulate these two monsters. Why isn’t the media interviewing John Snow?

Obama will likely sign a bill into law (The Employee Free Choice Act H.R. 800 is currently under consideration in congress) that will remove the ability of an employee to keep secret his preference for or against unionization in the workplace. Union leaders will know who wants a union and who doesn’t. No secret ballot! Can you say “knuckle sandwich” out back by the Dumpster?

He will likely roll back your legal right to own a gun. He will probably save that one for later or choose the “slow erosion” of rights technique. Nevertheless, this will leave the illegal guns in the hands of the thugs. Not good.

Finally, Obama believes that the constitution is a document of negative rights. He wants to change that. He says that the constitution expresses what the government cannot do to you. He wants to change that and spell out what the government must do for you.

When you put all this together, it is the duty of every sane individual to say no to the radical leftist agenda of Barack Obama.

That is my plea.

Your friend always,

Jeff

P.S. When the bloom falls off the rose, you are left with the thorns.

Update: The “Creepy” factor is starting to kick in hard. I live in the Cleveland Area. I just watched Mr.“Senator Government” pontificating on TV. He looked preachy and autocratic. He only smiled with glibness, in response to his own well turned phrase. He had to egg on the crowd when they didn’t quite seem to cheer loud enough. The crowd got louder, but only in that “yeah!!!, yeah!!, yeah!? … I think I’m excited, but I’m feeling some doubt in the pit of my stomach.” The masses are starting to scratch their heads. He tried to hide the fact that he had to look at a crib note to remember the names of Bruce Springsteen’s family members. I wasn’t put off that he had to read the names, It’s the fact that he tried to appear that he wasn’t reading. The real Obama is tipping his hand. McCain really needs to hit Obama hard on the Exxon record tax and his comment that, “It’s your money.” Even if he didn’t mean it in the confiscatory fashion, it is still not their money. It’s money that they traded for a product.

Ohhhh Tom! I was rooting for you in the British Open. I think I knew it was over when you missed that putt on 18. You could see the deflation. You were cooked right then and there.

The Healthcare Flow Chart

Here is a link to the "chutes and ladders" flow chart of the Democrat health care proposal. The bottom line, as Michelle Bachman (R) Minnesota explains, is that the Democrat plan will eventually collapse the private insurance option. This boondoggle must be stopped! Brave New World

I have not posted for a while here.

In the past couple of weeks I have managed to lose my job. It was not totally unexpected. For a while now, I have felt that I was at the end of a solid run. Sometimes the wheel just spins around. For the past couple of weeks I have been ruminating about the opportunities ahead, catching up with old friends, and tapping my network. You would think I would posting more and ranting on about the whole state of the world, the unfairness of it all, etc. But that is not my style. Although the dismissal was for technical reasons, subterfuge lurks below the obvious story. In short, I believe I was released for political reasons. I don't state this with bitterness. I accept the nature of life as it comes. I am geared toward personal responsibility. I'm a realist ... taking twists and turns as they come.

If you are a conservative in need of a quality bartender ... I'm your guy.

Sykes: Correcting the record

Before Wanda Sykes wished kidney failure on Rush Limbaugh, she slipped in a dig that was based on a misquote. Trust me, this was not a slip up. This deliberate misquote was just another little piece of the subtle propaganda by the left. Rush Limbaugh did NOT say he "wished failure for the country." Nothing could be farther from the truth. He wishes "Obama to fail" for the success of the country. This nuanced lie by Sykes will be lost on most of the population. But it is duly noted here.

I'm a little behind lately on the news.

Pelosi ..... LOL .... LOL ....LOL

.... listening to her reading her statement ...LOL ...LOL ...LOL. The blinking must be out of control. Ha Ho Ha Ho oooh .....

What a self-serving, duplicitous, lying .... I better stop ... I'm starting to think of others words .... things that only idiots like Perez Hilton post.

David Feherty has to apology for making a very funny joke about this loony toon (representing the true attitude of the military), yet Wanda Sykes get's the free pass on Limbaugh and gets to feed propaganda to the uninformed to boot!

This is what we're up against folks!

Luantic Left

Wanda Sykes and the rest of the lunatic left hate Rush for one reason and one reason only. He exposes their radical, unconstitutional agenda on a daily basis. He does this successfully because he uses the actual words of the radical leftist to expose the radical leftist agenda. No greater example of it was Monday, May 11th, 2009. The last sound byte Rush played was that of the "honorable" Timothy Geithner. To Charlie Rose Mr Geithner made this clear: all the things the treasury is doing is to make sure we "prevent another boom." PREVENT ANOTHER BOOM! Zero growth? Zero expansion? Fewer jobs? Fewer goods? Less food? .... and on and on. I believe Rush saved this one for the end of the show. Why? He wanted to leave the listener with the tome of a ringing bell. Geithner's statement should alert every American. To these radicals, equally spreading misery and poverty is better than disproportionate wealth lifting all boats. Destroy the entreprenurial spirit by forcing all to take the government handout. Obama is throwing down with the Terminator these days ... are you next? ... am I next?

The Great Ennui

The great ennui set in after the tea party. The fervor of the sign making and the energized lead up to the April 15th event sapped a good deal of American patriotic energy. It took a great deal of mine. The shock and awe approach of the Obama Motors Administration dissolved the tea parties in a sea of hypnotically induced media yawns. The MSNBC lunatics made their Tea Bagging jokes. The mainstreamers passed it off as a FOX News organized event. We all know that is BS. Now we can get back to things like watching Drew Peterson in handcuffs talking to the sky. This is the state of ennui that dictators dream of.

This whole media dismissal is actually a crafty and well orchestrated response by the administration.  There was no need for me to break out my ACORN protest sign; there was no ACORN presence. Brilliant move by the opposition! Why call out the big guns? Why show a stiff counter movement? That would have made it more of a media event. We won't see the big guns come out until there are a million people on the Mall in Washington D.C. It is every patriotic American's duty to help put those million people in place, preferably on July 4th.

Tax Me: I Farted

Henry Waxman

I just caught the end of Tavis Smiley interviewing Henry Waxman. If you are not sure what a "statist" is, read Liberty and Tyranny for information. Then listen to Henry Waxman talk. That will be known as "confirmation."

ACORN

The best defense for the ACORN agitators is this: "I am here for this protest on my own free will. I am not being compensated for my actions. Are you? Yes you are. Who is paying you to be here? I will tell you. I am paying you to be here ... my tax money is paying for you to be here. The government is using our money to pay you to protect it! You are of the government, by the government, and for the government."

I am really glad Rush brought up the "Beltway Pirates" led by Reid and Pelosi (see sign I posted yesterday). His point was this: While Obama was showing "great leadership" in dealing with pirates looking for a pittance of two million dollars, domestically future generations of Americans are being pirated to the tune of trillions of dollars. He was spot on with that analogy.

I always like to think of a trillion as simply a "million times a million." So now say, "one million millions;" Now say, "Two Million." ... Now you see how big a trillion really is. Try that on a seven year old ... watch him ponder ...

Protest Signs

Below are some of the signs I have created for the protest this Wednesday, April 15th. I will be staging an informal rally at the FREE STAMP in downtown Cleveland, Ohio at 3 PM. From there we will be marching down to Mall C for the main event at 4 PM. Please feel free to stop by and lend your support.

He Bowed

Now the White House is hopelessly trying to deny the fact that Obama bowed to the King of Saudi.

This reminds me of the effort of another megalomaniac to appear as an infallible figure. Remember the story of Kim Jong Il's golfing prowess.

Government Out of Control

So the government is refusing to take back the TARP money from the banks. What a scam on the part of this administration! This is an abomination! The true intent of this administration could not be more clear. "We will not take this money back. If we did, then we could not tell you how to run your business!" ... correction! ... should read "dismantle your business." It is a plain and simple thing to see.

A Little Golf Talk

Here is a video on alignment. I came up with this idea by chance when a piece of blue sewer pipe rolled into my yard. You see, a new development is going in next to me and the drainage for the residential development runs along my property line. As I started to cut up this piece of drainage pipe to dispose of it, an idea flashed into my mind. The alignment video was born.

The PAL Project

I finished reading my copy of Liberty and Tyranny yesterday. I have promised my copy to an acquaintance of mine. This person agreed to read it on my condition that the book will be passed on to another citizen. I am calling on all conservatives to start their own PAL (Pass Around Liberty) project. I will be ordering ten copies of Liberty and Tyranny. I will keep one and pass out the other nine. I am asking others to do the same.

... AND SHOW UP TO A TEA PARTY IN YOUR COMMUNITY!

Cleveland Tea Party

The King and I

So the boy King bows to the King of Saudi Arabia. In terms of protocol, it's repulsive. Barak, you are the presumed head of State! Ahhhhhhhhhhrrgggg. This is the brilliant Harvard Grad!? ... really? .... seriously? ... This is the guy that makes George Bush look like a bumbling idiot? The King of Saudi is the man we are supposed to stop handing money to. "We must wean ourselves from foreign oil," says Obama. Then he bows to him, exposing his neck like a subservient dog.

I guess he puts as much time into prepping for international relations as he does picking out lame brain gifts for the Brits. What a loser!

What's really terrible is the main story. He's giving away the sovereinty of the United States of America to international "regulation."

For the first time in my life I'm embarrassed to be an American. Not really. I just think back to the Michelle "my belle" Obama's remark. Then I throw up a little bit in my mouth.

WAKE UP AMERICA!

Evil Capitalists Out!

This Wagoner thing is just a another "Shock and Awe" tactic in Obama's Audacity of Slope, as in the slippery slope. I challenge Wagoner to immediately put out a book, or at least a statement, denouncing the tactics of the hard left.

Tiger for President!

What a victory for Woods, draining a sixteen footer on the seventy-second hole for a one shot come from behind win. Back in the late 1990's, I firmly believed that Tiger Woods would be the first African American president. Well we know at least that he was born in the United States! It is too bad that this impostor has stolen the show!

Woods would make a much better president than Barak Obama. Why? He understands how competition brings out the best in people. He knows instinctively that people work harder, are more creative, and are more productive when they are presented with an incentive to do so. Woods oversees a large foundation. He understands a bit about business. The boy at the top these days has no such inclination.

I wonder if Tiger Woods has any buyer's remorse for his Obama backing. I understand how easy it would be for him to get sucked in. He knows what it's like to be a ground breaker and a trail blazer. He obviously sees Obama in the historical context of history books yet to be written. This is understandable. But Tiger Please! As the son of a military man, and a great American family, can you yourself see the duplicity of this megalomaniac and his minions?

Tiger

Tiger just pulled two consecutive balls to the left at Bay Hill. He must have been doubting his Obama resolve.

C.S. Lewis quote

The quote of C.S. Lewis on page 22 of Liberty and Tyranny is one of the most sobering of all texts. It sheds light on the context of our modern society of political correctness. We have the so-called "victims" of the so-called global warming crisis. We have invented ways, or have had ways invented for us, to allow ourselves to believe that these freedoms we surrender are surrendered for the good of all ...

Have you seen the commercials with the tag line, "There is no such thing as clean coal"? The sheep are really buying this Propaganda!! ... dismissing American ingenuity! ... conveniently leaving out the word "technology" in the term "clean coal technology" Attempting to castrate proven technologies in favor of minor league options and their minimal ROI.

The statists would say something like this: "We believe that the people who do not know how to fix roads are being discriminated against by those who DO know how to fix roads. We will not stand for this inequality. Therefore, road work must be given equally to those who DO and those who DO NOT know how to fix roads."

Eh?

Pass Around Liberty Project

I picked up my copy of Liberty and Tyranny today. I will soon place a link for those wishing to purchase the book on line. I am already well into the book. I highly recommend it!

As soon as I am done reading it, I will commence the Pass Around Liberty Project ... the PAL project. Here is how it works. Upon reading the last words of the book, I will write on the inside cover, "This is a gift from:" Directly under that statement, I will write my name. I will then offer to give my book away to someone who will promise to read it. There will be only one condition. Upon finishing the last words of the book, the recipient must promise to write their name on the inside cover below mine and pass it on to another person. They too will request that the recipient do the same. I will of course repeat the process several times. It will cost me some money, but I look at it as an investment in my country ... my patriotic duty. I am calling on all patriots to start their own similar campaign.

Try to avoid handing it off to a statist ... they would rather burn the book than pass it on!

Macedonia

I find it both amusing and scary that the country of Macedonia, which is nestled in the Balkans, is advertising on TV in the United States for foreign investment and the relocation of businesses. It boasts a strong infrastructure, educated workforce, and low taxes! Twenty five years ago we would be laughing. We would be wondering if it was some kind of Saturday Night Live comedy skit. But now, this isn't funny. This is scary! By the way, Macedonia has instituted a flat tax of ten percent. That is down from the twelve percent it was a couple of years ago. It appears the United States is going in the exact opposite direction.

Black Cars and Statism

So California wants to ban black cars. Why? A black car absorbs the sun and requires greater air conditioning. Everyone knows (those in sheep mode) that this means global warming. Right? Rush caller then has brilliant observation. Black absorbs heat ... white reflects heat. Let the people absorb the heat at the ground. This will cool the atmosphere. .... but yes ... that's not the point. A government entity is telling the people that they can't own a black car .... STATISM! My new favorite word. Are we willing sheep walking through the wool factory .... fleeced of our liberty ... fleeced of our self-respect ... fleeced of our individual choice.

Levin's new Book

I stopped at my local Borders yesterday to hunt down a copy of Mark Levin's new book Liberty and Tyranny. It was sold out. I put myself on the waiting list. The man in line in front of me was also putting his name on the waiting list. It is good to know that "we the people" are still involved. There is hope. Don't let the media browbeat you into thinking that you are in the minority.

Levin was on Rush yesterday. He presented some fascinating insights on the book. The title of the book was taken from a Lincoln quote. "The world has never had a good definition of the word liberty, and the American people, just now, are much in want of one. We all declare for liberty; but in using the same word we do not all mean the same thing. With some the word liberty may mean for each man to do as he pleases with himself, and the product of his labor; while with others the same word may mean for some men to do as they please with other men, and the product of other men’s labor. Here are two, not only different, but incompatible things, called by the same name—liberty. And it follows that each of the things is, by the respective parties, called by two different and incompatible names—liberty and tyranny."

In the interview Levin did not word things in the standard "liberal" and "conservative" terms. He did however, shed light on the term "statist." These are the folks that want to fire up the "social engineering" monster machine. They don't believe in individual liberty. They believe in the right of the "state" to control the lives of individuals by means of government mandates. This objective has given us FDR's New Deal, Johnson's Great Society and the War on Poverty. Now days, the steel bars of statism appear to be closing down all around us.

Levin also pointed out that the suit Obama wears, the microphone he uses, the car which drives him, the helicopter that flies him, and the telepromter (the thing that fills his mouth with words) he uses, are all the result of CAPITALISM!

I cannot wait to read this book!

A marijuana giggle

Trivisano on WTAM is questioning whether or not Obama's flippant response on 60 Minutes was a "marijuana giggle." I say no. As a professional bartender, I surmise that to be a two to three Bombay Sapphire martini giggle (depending on tolerance, of course). While I have no qualms about social drinking, lifeblood to the bartender that it is, most people exercise their social drinking after the hard work is done! Oh I forgot .... Obama is out of town being an international celebrity. He's on celebrity vacation. Let the party begin!

Where are the outsourcing crybabies

Americans are losing jobs to cheap Chinese condoms.

Barney Rubble

Barney Frank ... what a piece of work! Check this article out.

The angry mob

So now Acorn is receiving a billion plus dollars of taxpayer money to help organize tours of mobs to harass individual taxpayers. Gather the pitchforks and torches. Don't buy this diversion play folks. Billions, and billions, and billions, and billions, and billions, and billions of the TARP money was diverted to foreign banks and Geithners buddies at Goldman Sachs.

But no ... no, no, no, .... let's go after individual citizens and unconstitutionally levy a 90% tax on people that we choose. Break contracts willy nilly at the governments choosing. Humiliate from the top down by skimming off the froth of the perceived excessive. Directly pit the poorest among us against the wealthiest. We of the middle class should find this disgusting to us. This is the man of "hope" and "change." ... laughing and flashing his pearly whites as the government under the surface seeks to take over more and more.

Freedom and Golf

I start this blog on a Tuesday upon reflection of the events of yesterday. I spent Monday tending to the yard and hitting pitch shots in between my stretches of work. I stoked the fire out back, burning the fallen branches of winter. I thought to myself, "It is good to burn a fire in the yard ... incense to the world ... a connection to the ancients." Suddenly an odd thought popped into my head. "I wonder how long before the 'carbon police' come knocking on my door."

All the while I'm listening to Mark Steyn, filling in for Rush. He begins talking about the EU enforcing the flatulence tax on the farmers of its member nations. He paints a brilliant picture of a peasant medieval farmer guffawing when the "kings men" come by to collect a flatulence tax on his goats. His British accent sparks in my mind the images of a Monty Python lampoon. Yet modern society has discarded all common sense and blankly accepts such preposterous ideas. "Oops! I farted ... tax me!"

Now, with the fire roaring, I settle into hitting more golf balls. Suddenly, inspiration overtakes me. I begin to see golf in a whole new light. Allow me to explain. For years I have been authoring goldengolf . The goal was to draw upon, physics, mysticism, neuroscience, philosophy, and aesthetics, to develop a holistic approach to the game I love. Politics never entered into the equation. But now there is a new angle.

The most pleasurable experience a golfer has, no matter his or her level of play, is the occurance of the "pure shot." The pleasure is rooted in the complete freedom he or she experiences in the movement and in the moment. The movement is not strained. Nor is it manufactured. It is in complete harmony with the free will of the golfers intent. The result is a golf shot where the ball jumps off the club face and sails perfectly along the line the player intended. It even has a unique sound! The urge to experience this freedom is therefore the highest goal of the golfer. When the golfer feels this freedom, he intrinsicly understands that the result of this movement will be postive.

Axiom: The urge to be free cannot be separated from the soul of the golfer. The urge to be free cannot be separated from the soul of any individual. The urge to be free is born with us. It is an inalienable right.

As I have said previously, the game of golf is a beacon of democracy, capitalism, and freedom.

The purpose of this blog:

1. Support all Patriots. I will help in any manner for those needing support for Tea Party rallies.

2. Rally the masses for an anti-incumbancy movement. Harry Reid ... OUT! ... Nancy Pelosi ...OUT! ... Barney Frank ... OUT! Chris Dodd ... OUT! Anyone who voted for TARP .... OUT!

3. To help preserve the game of golf for future generations.

4. To reverse the assault on capitalism. Haven't we learned anything from the European experiment? Socialism has never worked! Never! The Pilgrims were almost wiped out because of collectivism. It is antithetical to human nature. There is no reason to believe that suddenly it will work here.

5. To reach out to those dear folks that may be having buyers remorse after last years presidential election. This is not about Republicans and Democrats. This is about the United States of America, the Constitution, Democracy, and Freedom.

The founders of this great nation are rolling in their graves. We the people is a great video.
